Immigration Law

Ms. Brown began practicing Immigration Law in 1999. She was the supervising attorney of the Catholic Charities Immigration and Refugee Services Program in Orlando, Florida where she supervised a staff of 7 individuals. While at Catholic Charities she provided Immigration services in a wide range of areas. Her cases included but were not limited to: asylum and refugee law, battered spouse petitions, Cuban adjustments, Cancellation of Removal applications, removal of conditional resident status, deportation-Immigration Court proceedings, family petitions, Haitian refugee cases, K visas, visa extensions, Board of Immigration Appeals, Diversity lottery, Religious worker visas, special immigrant juvenile petitions, student visas, J-1 visa waivers, V visas, fiancée visas, naturalization, naturalization waivers, naturalization appeals, hardship waivers. Since opening her firm in 2002 she has expanded her field of practice to cases involving business immigration visas and has successfully completed employment based sponsorship cases.
 

Family Law

Ms. Brown practices family law in Orange, Seminole and Volusia County, Florida. She has represented clients in cases involving supplemental modifications of final orders as well as contested and uncontested divorce or dissolution of marriage. She is also a child advocate and has represented children in dependency proceedings before the Ninth Judicial Circuit Juvenile Court.
